Homework Policy/Procedures: Homework: The daily practice that homework provides is important in learning a foreign language. Concepts learned in class must be practiced over and over until they become natural. Therefore, homework will be checked on a daily basis when assigned. Zero points will be awarded for no homework or a partially completed assignment. Homework will make up 20% of the grade. |
|
Make-up Policy/Procedures: Make-up Work: In a foreign language class, the classroom experiences you miss may not be able to be duplicated. Thus, your attendance is extremely important. When absent, it is your responsibility to contact me about what you have missed and to make up any homework assignments and tests missed. For every day you are absent, you will be allowed one day to make up the missed work and tests. After that, for every day tests or quizzes are taken late, you will receive a 10% grade reduction. If you return from an absence on the day of a test that was announced when you were present, you will be required to take the test with the rest of the class. |
